Newly built houses usually lack the personality and atmosphere that comes for free with an older building, they miss the nooks and crannies and the charm that comes with age and patina. While many feel new homes make up for this with their perfect shiny surfaces and practicality, I usually prefer houses where generations have lived before me. Not the case here though. It might have something to do with the amazing sunset light warming the images, but I believe there is more to it. The styling here is great, with a perfect and credible mix of new and vintage items, making it look like an actual person lives here. The architecture with all its wooden details seem to flirt with both 50’s and functionalist style, paired with a healthy dose of modernity. The result: this house looks totally liveable, almost lived in actually.
