On our Sunny Design Days tour in Spain this summer, we had the opportunity to visit the showroom of Gandía-Blasco, a Spanish family owned brand for textiles, rugs and outdoor furniture.

The furniture line started when José Gandía-Blasco needed to furnish his newly built house in Ibiza, but couldn’t find the right style, so he asked his architect to design some furniture for him. The result was a series of outdoor furniture with geometric shapes and right angles, just like the architecture of the Ibiza homes in pure white.

In connection with the showroom located in their old factory, you’ll find the Gandia-Blasco home, where the whole family lives in a newly built extension by Borja Garcia Architects. It’s all white and concrete, super minimalist and completely stunning. We were invited in, and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and outdoor lounge area!
