Three things I didn’t see this week, but wish I had…
1: The opening of Artilleriet Studio, an exhibition celebrating the five year anniversary of Gothenburg’s finest interiors shop. These images by blogger Johanna Bradford made me want to jump on the next train to the west coast! It’s open until October though, so no panic.
2: Another opening; Layered Atelier, which is the new showroom and shop for Swedish rug brand Layered, located in an 17th century palace in Stockholm. The store concept is similar to The Apartment in Copenhagen or The Line in NYC, a space full of handpicked objects from all over the world where everything is for sale but looks far from your regular retail space.
3: Second year students from Beckmans College of Design have collaborated with Designtorget to produce a number of products, sold at the Designtorget flagship store in an edition of 10 each, for a limited time only.
